Gabriela Ben David

Senior Manager, Crisis Management, Global Jewish Community Security Department

Gabriela was born in 1984 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Gabriela has been involved in Jewish communities security and crisis management since 2007, working for the Security unit of the Prague Jewish Community.

In 2013, together with other experts from Jewish communities, Gabriela established a Security and Crisis Center (SACC) project under the umbrella of EJC.

In 2015 she co-founded the “Soft Targets Protection Institute” in Prague, focusing on crisis management for non-sectarian schools and conferences.

In 2015 Gabriela joined the Global Jewish Community Security Department of the World Jewish Congress, and has been running the global community crisis management project (www.saccworld.com). She continues to contribute in the development of community-crisis-management domain with all its aspects. She believes in integration of various fields into preparedness trainings (psychological, medical aspects and others).

Gabriela holds an M.A in Diplomacy and Conflict Studies from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel.

Gabriela recently made “aliya” and currently lives with her husband in Tel Aviv-Yaffo.
