Before joining the World Jewish Congress in 2015, Aliyana Traison worked as an editor on the Israeli daily Haaretz for more than a decade, covering a range of topics on the breaking news desk including international relations, security and defense, Israeli politics and the Jewish world. She received a B.A. (Honors) in World History from McGill University and a Master's in English Literature and Creative Writing at Bar Ilan University.
