God Semenovich Nisanov was born on April 24, 1972 in Krasnaya (Jewish) Sloboda (the city of Kuba) Azerbaijan. He graduated first from the College of Finance and Credit and then from the Baku Law Institute.
God Nisanov is one of the most famous Mountain Jewish businessmen and philanthropists. He is a co-owner of major metropolitan shopping centers and hotels.
In July 2014 during a ceremony in the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded God Nisanov with the Order of Friendship for his outstanding contribution to the implementation of major economic joint projects with the Russian Federation and for attracting investment capital into the Russian economy.
He was elected as a member of the World Jewish Congress Executive Committee in September 2014.
